Saturday, October 29, 2011, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, DEA will coordinate its third collaborative effort with state and local law enforcement agencies as part of the National Drug Take Back Initiative, focused on removing potentially dangerous controlled substances and other medications from our nations medicine cabinets and preventing improper disposal of them. April 2011 Events:

April 30, 2011 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Many Utah local law enforcement agencies and cities are participating in this national event sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration. It provides Utah households an opportunity to "Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet" of unused over-the-counter and prescription medications for safe disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day (unless otherwise noted.) "Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet" take-back events will be held on April 24, 2010 from 10 am - 2 pm in 7 cities. These events will provide Utah households an opportunity to "Drive-Up and Drop-Off" unused over-the-counter and prescription medication for safe disposal. Event information is listed below:
